Hope Springs Africa is growing, and we are thoughtfully building the governing board that will help us steward what comes next.
We are not looking to simply fill seats.
We are looking for a small group of committed people who believe in our mission, value the dignity of the people we serve, and are willing to bring their wisdom, experience, and perspective to the table.
As our work continues to grow in Rwanda and our engagement expands here in the United States, strong leadership and good stewardship matter deeply to us.
Who We Hope to Meet
We would love to meet people who are thoughtful, dependable, collaborative, and willing to engage.
We are especially interested in leaders with experience in areas such as finance, accounting, law and governance, business, education, youth development, philanthropy, nonprofit leadership, and community development.
But titles and credentials are only part of the picture.
Character matters.
Commitment matters.
A willingness to ask good questions, offer wise counsel, open doors when appropriate, and help protect the mission matters.
And because Hope Springs Africa believes deeply in developing local leaders and strengthening communities, we also want our board to reflect a variety of experiences, backgrounds, and perspectives.
We Are Taking Our Time
We believe the right board should be built thoughtfully.
Expressing interest does not create an obligation for you or for Hope Springs Africa. It simply begins a conversation.
We want to learn about you, allow you to learn more about us, talk honestly about the responsibilities of board service, and determine whether there is a mutual fit.
We are not rushing this process.
