For a family, a clean water filter means healthier children, fewer illnesses, and more time for education and work. It means saying goodbye to boiling water. It's a luxury that many of us take for granted, but a lifeline that brings hope and transforms daily life in rural Rwanda.

education supplies

We provide school uniforms, backpacks, and tuition to remove barriers to education. Additionally, supplying umbrellas and rain gear ensures safety and good health during the wet season, enabling children to focus on their studies without weather-related disruptions.

menstrual health

Access to feminine hygiene products, soap, toothpaste, and lotions is crucial for girls' well-being and education. Providing these essentials empowers them to pursue their dreams uninterrupted, promoting health, confidence, and school success.

According to Unicef, women and girls need access to quality menstrual hygiene products to manage their menstruation safely, hygienically and with dignity. Lack of access to hygiene products can limit their participation in school, work and social activities.

According to UNESCO, in 2021, approximately 9.5 million children in sub-Saharan Africa were out of school due to financial constraints, emphasizing the urgent need for initiatives addressing education accessibility in the region. Hope Springs Africa strives to diminish this alarming statistic and eradicate the stigma associated with lack of education. Because every child should thrive.
